Written by series creator <strong>Gege Akutami<\/strong> with artwork by <strong>Yuji Iwasaki<\/strong>, the story kicks off when an alien race known as the <strong>Simurians<\/strong> arrives on Earth in a spacecraft. Unlike most sci-fi aliens, the Simurians are capable of wielding Jujutsu Sorcery \u2014 and they&#8217;re not invaders. They&#8217;re looking for a new home.<\/p>\n<p>The manga ran as a limited serialisation in Weekly Shonen Jump from September 2025 through early 2026, collected into three volumes. The final volume, Volume 3, was published in Japan on 1 May 2026.<\/p>\n<h2>Meet the New Okkotsu Siblings \u2014 and an Alien Diplomat<\/h2>\n<p>The three leads bring both a sense of legacy and something genuinely new to the JJK universe:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tsurugi Okkotsu<\/strong> \u2014 grandson of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zen&#8217;in, the elder brother and a skilled jujutsu sorcerer<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yuka Okkotsu<\/strong> \u2014 Tsurugi&#8217;s younger sister, equally capable, and described as having an overpowered cursed technique of her own<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marulu Val Vol Yelvori (Maru)<\/strong> \u2014 the Simurian diplomat assigned to partner with the Okkotsu siblings; sent to demonstrate that his people can coexist with humanity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fans of the original series will immediately recognise the weight of those surnames. The clip surpassed three million views within 12 hours of going live on the official Jump Channel, with many viewers noting it looked indistinguishable from an actual anime episode. No full adaptation has been announced yet, but the PV&#8217;s existence \u2014 and the audience response to it \u2014 makes one seem increasingly likely. If you&#8217;re a fan of the original series who hasn&#8217;t dipped into Modulo yet, this is a good moment to start: all chapters are free online, the physical English volumes are confirmed, and a MAPPA anime adaptation feels like a matter of when rather than if.
