The Pok\u00e9mon GO Fest world tour kicks off its Copenhagen leg today (12\u201314 June), and while we\u2019re not all flying to Denmark, that\u2019s fine \u2014 because the event that matters most to Singapore trainers lands right here at home on 11\u201312 July<\/strong>. And for the first time in GO Fest history, it is completely free<\/em>.<\/p>\n

What Is Pok\u00e9mon GO Fest 2026 Global?<\/h2>\n

GO Fest 2026 is a celebration of Pok\u00e9mon GO\u2019s tenth anniversary<\/a>, spanning three in-person city events (Tokyo, Chicago, Copenhagen) before going worldwide on 11\u201312 July<\/strong>. In past years the Global event required a paid ticket. This year, Niantic has made GO Fest 2026: Global free for every trainer who logs in<\/strong> during the event weekend \u2014 Special Research, increased Shiny rates, bonuses and all. No ticket needed, no SGD spent.<\/p>\n

Event hours are 10:00 a.m. \u2013 7:00 p.m. local time<\/strong> each day (SGT is the same as your device\u2019s local time), plus nine all-day hours<\/strong> of gameplay each day as an extra anniversary gift. Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y Make Their Pok\u00e9mon GO Debut<\/h2>\n

The headline attraction: Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y arrive in Pok\u00e9mon GO for the first time ever<\/strong> during GO Fest 2026 Global. They\u2019ll appear in Super Mega Raid Battles<\/strong> \u2014 Mega Mewtwo X on Saturday, Mega Mewtwo Y on Sunday. Via a branching Timed Research you\u2019ll choose which form to pursue, and every Mega Mewtwo caught from raids comes with at least one Mega Level already unlocked<\/strong>, meaning you can Mega Evolve it for free straight away. That\u2019s massive for any trainer who has been hoarding Mega Energy.<\/p>\n

The in-person Copenhagen attendees get first access this weekend, but the full debut \u2014 open to all trainers globally \u2014 is the 11\u201312 July<\/strong> Global event. Singapore trainers: that is your window.<\/p>\n

Zeraora Is Coming to Pok\u00e9mon GO<\/h2>\n

Zeraora, the Thunderclap Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong>, also makes its Pok\u00e9mon GO debut during GO Fest 2026. All trainers who log in during the Global event weekend receive Special Research leading to a Zeraora encounter \u2014 and the research does not expire<\/strong>, so you can complete it at your own pace after the event. Mythical Pok\u00e9mon with no time pressure is a rare gift.<\/p>\n
